Invisalign in Northridge and Calabasas

There’s never been a better time to straighten your teeth with the latest in clear aligner technology! Pair & Hoang Orthodontics is a top 1% Invisalign and clear aligner provider serving the San Fernando Valley from offices in Northridge and Calabasas. With custom-fit trays and close oversight from Dr. Pair and Dr. Hoang, clear aligners offer a comfortable, nearly invisible way to get the smile you’ve always wanted.

Why Invisalign

Invisible but Effective:
Invisalign clear aligners are virtually invisible—so most people won’t even notice you’re wearing them. But don’t let their subtle appearance fool you—they’re highly effective at treating a wide range of orthodontic issues, including crowding, gaps, crossbites, overbites, underbites, and open bites. With Invisalign, you can confidently work toward a straighter smile without the look of traditional braces.
Fewer Repairs, Less Hassle:
One of the great advantages of Invisalign treatment is that it typically requires fewer emergency or repair visits compared to traditional braces. Since there are no brackets or wires that can break or come loose, Invisalign patients are less likely to experience unexpected issues between appointments. This means fewer trips to the office for repairs—saving you time, reducing interruptions to your routine, and helping your treatment stay on track with minimal hassle.

‍Comfortable and Convenient:
Invisalign clear aligners are designed with comfort and convenience in mind. The trays are smooth, comfortable to wear, and completely removable—so you can eat what you love and maintain your regular brushing and flossing routine without interruption. Plus, Invisalign fits easily into your busy schedule. You’ll only need to visit our office about every six weeks, and you can switch to your next set of aligners at home, on your own time. It’s a flexible, hassle-free way to achieve a straighter smile.

The Invisalign Treatment Process

Meet With Dr. Pair or Dr. Hoang
Using digital 3D treatment planning, Dr. Pair and Dr. Hoang will map out exactly how each aligner will move your teeth, step by step. You will be able to see the gradual changes each set makes as your teeth move closer to their final position. You’ll even get to see a simulation of what your new smile could look like.
‍
Begin The Transformation
When you pick up your first set of Invisalign aligners, Dr. Pair or Dr. Hoang will check them to make sure that they fit correctly and are as comfortable as possible. They will also schedule a series of regular, face-to-face check-ups to give you each new batch of aligners and monitor the progress of your new smile. As part of the process of shifting your teeth during your treatment, you’ll be swapping out your aligners often.

Completion of Invisalign
Like all teeth straightening treatments, including braces, once you’re done with your Invisalign treatment, you’ll need to wear a retainer to keep your teeth straight. You will be fitted for custom made retainers in the office to take home that day. We will then monitor you periodically to make sure that you are keeping your smile beautiful.

Invisalign FAQs

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign straightens your teeth with a series of clear, custom-made aligners that fit snugly over your teeth and move them a little at a time. At Pair & Hoang Orthodontics we start with a quick digital scan instead of impression trays, and Dr. Pair or Dr. Hoang plans your entire treatment before you wear your first aligner. You wear each set about 20 to 22 hours a day and switch to the next set every one to two weeks until your smile is where it should be.

How much does Invisalign cost in Northridge and Calabasas?

The cost of Invisalign depends on how far your teeth need to move and how long treatment takes, so the most accurate number comes from a consultation. Your first visit at Pair & Hoang Orthodontics is free, and we'll review your orthodontic insurance benefits with you before you commit to anything. We offer flexible payment plans with financing, down payment, and pay-in-full discount options, and we accept FSA and HSA funds. With offices in Northridge and Calabasas, we make it easy for families across the San Fernando Valley to find out their exact price. Call (818) 349-4956 for Northridge or (818) 222-4543 for Calabasas to schedule.

Is Invisalign as effective as braces?

For most patients, yes. When an orthodontic specialist plans and supervises the treatment, Invisalign moves teeth just as effectively as braces. The difference is who's directing your care. Dr. Pair and Dr. Hoang are board certified orthodontists and a top 1% Invisalign practice, so your aligners are designed and monitored by doctors who do this every day, not mailed to you without an exam. Some complex bite problems are still better handled with braces, and we'll tell you plainly which option fits your case at your consultation.

Can my teenager or younger child get Invisalign?

Yes. Pair & Hoang Orthodontics offers Invisalign Teen for teenagers who want to straighten their teeth without the look of metal braces, and Invisalign First for younger children who need early (Phase I) treatment while their jaws are still growing. Dr. Pair and Dr. Hoang have cared for Valley families since 1990, and they'll tell you whether your child is ready to start now or whether it makes more sense to watch their growth for a while first.

How long does Invisalign treatment take?

Most Invisalign cases finish in about 12 to 18 months. Simpler cases can be done sooner, and more complex cases can take longer. The biggest factor in staying on schedule is wearing your aligners the full 20 to 22 hours a day. Your treatment plan will be planned and mapped out digitally from the start, so we can track your progress closely at each visit and keep treatment on schedule.

Do I have to deal with messy molds or impressions?

No. Instead of the old goopy impression trays, we take a fast, comfortable digital scan of your teeth and build a 3D model from it. You get to see your treatment plan on screen, and that same scan is used to make aligners that fit only your teeth. It's one of the reasons patients in Northridge, Calabasas, and the surrounding San Fernando Valley tell us treatment here was easier than they expected.
